Supported Living

Empowering Independent Lives with the Right Support

At Mayer Healthcare Services, our Supported Living service is designed to help individuals live as independently as possible while receiving the right level of support to stay safe, confident and in control of their own lives.

We provide flexible, person-centred support in people’s own homes or supported accommodation, enabling individuals to develop life skills, build confidence and actively participate in their communities.

Our Supported Living services are suitable for adults with:

  • Learning disabilities
  • Autism spectrum conditions
  • Mental health needs
  • Physical or sensory impairments
  • Acquired brain injuries
  • Complex support needs

What Is Supported Living?

Supported Living allows individuals to live in their own home or shared accommodation while receiving tailored support that promotes independence rather than dependency. Support is delivered according to individual needs and can range from a few hours a week to 24-hour assistance.

Unlike residential care, Supported Living focuses on choice, autonomy and personal development, giving individuals greater control over their lives.
